We had to pack our bags Monday morning and head to our next town. Since we had to leave the hotel by 10 in the morning and check in at 4, we decided to stop in Lucerne. We took an hour long boat ride which didn’t even get us very far in the lake. Hard to imagine that the lake is only the 4th largest in the country. We lucked out by not having many tourists on the boat. One of the reasons to travel in May 🙂 We have also been very lucky with the weather so far.

Once we finished the boat tour we visited the famous wood bridge. I didn’t realize that the original burnt down in the early 90’s but was rebuilt shortly after that.
